Camping at Mueller State Park!

Last weekend Daddy brought me camping to Mueller State Park!

The trip there was really boring, and it was a lot of hard work bringing all of the camping gear up to the campsite. Daddy wanted me to hold the corner of the tent to help put it up, but there were too many trees to look at to be bothered with that, so I let Daddy put up the tent all by himself.

We got a fire going, but I don't know why, the people at the next spot over had a fire and had s'mores. But I had to eat my hotdog before Daddy would let me have any popcorn or s'mores. I think we should just eat marshmallows for supper when we are camping.

Saturday it was really cold, but the fire was boring so I liked sitting on the cold picnic table and saying I'm freezing instead of being bored by the fire. I got to pee on a tree three times Saturday!

Then we went fishing at 11 mile reservoir... but I don't actually think there are any fish there since we didn't see any.

Finally on the way home we stopped by The Donut Mill and I got to get a giant donut!

More Snowmen!

Last weekend we had lots of snow so daddy made me help him make a snowman. It was lots of fun, but I would rather read books and color. We went sledding too, but that was scary because the hill is too steep and it was really icy.

This is a picture of what is left of the snowmen now. Zachy melted, but you can still see mommy, daddy and me.

I hope the snow all melts soon.

We had Christmas early this year since Aunt Jodi, Grandma Atch and Grandpa Tom came to visit! It was lots of fun!

The best part was that I finally could open up Rocket! Rocket is the coolest toy ever since it is REALLY loud and makes dozens of different noises and I can chase Vash with it.

Hey, it's a Monkey, Charlie Brown

On Halloween daddy and mommy took me trick-or-treating. I got to be a crazy monkey, and daddy was Charlie Brown. We went from door to door and we never went into people's houses. I tried going into the first few, but for some reason daddy kept pulling me back out and told me to say "thank you". Eventually I figured out I just had to look cute and walk away and we would goto the next house and repeat. Sometimes people would let me pick Skittles from a bowl, but mommy and daddy didn't let me eat them. Grown ups are weird.

Anyway, when we got home it was lots of fun eating some candy, but it seems like it would be easier to just go to the store for candy.

100 Duplos Acre Woods

Daddy and Mommy got me LOTS of new duplos! I have a Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and their friend Dora the Explorer! I also have cranky, a police car, a bulldozer, and 350 other blocks!

Yesterday Daddy made a wall with me. His was kind of weird and boring, but mine had lots more colors in it! He thinks it is funny when I say "Yerrow Brock", so I say that a lot.

We also watched Muppets, we finished season 1. I'm not sure what to think of the Muppets, they are kind of boring compared to The Wiggles. The Wiggles are better than even Fraggle Rock! The only thing better than a Wiggles CD is a Wiggles DVD. And the only thing better than a Wiggles DVD is playing with duplos and Thomas trains while watching a Wiggles DVD.

Here is a fun Wiggles video, daddy won't let me watch all of the wiggles videos on youtube, but one day I plan to watch all 6,430 of them.

Camping at Goldengate State Park

Yey! Camping is cool! There are carseats in the car to play with here.

This was the coolest tree EVER. I could see daddy and mommy through the tree!

The squirrels and birds were really friendly. They really liked bread, baloney and apple sauce. I always thought squirrels were scaredey-cats, but not the ones out camping! I was afraid they were going to come eat my fingers!

There was a kid named echo at the bathroom. I shouted at him for a long time, but I never could find him.

Daddy almost burned up in a scary fire thing. He kept trying to get me to sit by him, but I preferred to stay over on the park bench where it was cold, but safe.

I fell asleep in mommy's arms. When I woke up I was back home! I was worried that we would have to stay another night, but I talked mommy and daddy into leaving and sleeping someplace warmer!

Too bad I couldn't bring a friendly squirrel home with us!

Grandpa, Sit Down!

Yey! Grandpa came to visit last weekend to see Spamalot! here with daddy. He drove his really cool truck, and even let me ride in it!

Helping Do The Dishes!

Doing the dishes is fun. Sometimes it is confusing too. Mommy yells at me to STOP putting the dishes away "That is dirty!" she says. Everyone knows dirty dishes are the most fun, so they should definitely be put away. Other times she tells me to stop putting dishes IN the dishwasher! "Those are clean!" she says... huh? I'm so confused. But usually she lets me put the spoons and bowls away.

Vash is a big help doing the dishes too. He will lick them all off for me, and even eats any food I don't feel like eating if I have some left on my plate.

Day 1... it rained a lot! It was fun playing with daddy and mommy in the tent. Not sure I get the point of the whole camping thing yet... (The Cheetoes were fun, but daddy didn't seem as happy about them as I was.)

Day 2, Morning! Balloons! Balloons! Balloons! No matter how fast I run I can't seem to catch them though. Mommy ran after me and brought me back to the tent. Not sure why, it isn't raining so why do we need a tent?

Guess I'll try riding my bike. Sure is bumpy!

My friend Barb told us to goto the other side of the dam to the GRRR! Whoa! Look at all those dogs!

Wisconsin, the Fun Place!

Uncle Doug took daddy and me out on his AT Bee to pick black berries! There was all sorts of them all over the place! They live next to a bean farm, where they grow beans. A very musical place it is!

Oh boy! Black berries! These things are fun to pick. Especially when Doug and daddy jumped all over when they got poked by the cool spikey vines.

My cousin Randy has a cool Foosball table! It was really cool because grandpa played with me!

SCORE, FTW!

Grandma and Aunt Eunice roasted marshmallows in the fire pit in front of Eunice's house! Grandma didn't like eating them as much as roasting them, so I got as many as I wanted. This provided lots of energy to stay up late!

While we were in Wisconsin, I got to see my Super Grandpa! He is like 89 times older than me! He was a really cool guy! He told me stories and sat by the fire with me. He has like 87 kids, grand kids, great grand kids and great great grand kids total. That is a lot of kids! I guess he should maybe change his name to Abraham or something. Maybe one day I'll have so many kids and grand kids?

Why Tents are Dangerous

When we got to New Lisbon, we were planning to stay in a hotel; however, due to the biggest Wedding in the history of New Lisbon, all of the hotels for 30 miles around were full.

So daddy set up a tent in auntie Eunice's yard and he stayed there with Cousin Adam and Brody. They tried to get me to come into the cave, but since I had seen Charlie the Unicorn, I knew not to go too close!

Notice in the picture that a horrible hairy cat tongue thing is trying to take cousin adam's Kidney. Needless to say, I'm glad I was staying in Adam's room where I could be safe playing with scissors in my Pack-And-Play crib.

Moral of the story: Those who live in glass houses should not invite opera singers to dinner.

Going Places on Brody's Motorcycle!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We have had some bad things happen in our family, and I've not felt like updating my blog. But yesterday we went to Casa Bonita, and we saw a really scary gorilla, and I realized I needed to update my blog before a crazy monkey eats me.

Last month we went to Wisconsin to see family. We realized that my great grandparents Adeline and Delford have 87 kids+grand kids+greatgrandkids+ great great grand kids! Guess my parents are not doing their part to make sure my grandparents have that many grand kids!

My cousin Brody let me ride his motorcycle! It is really cool! (Brody is the one with the hair.) They also had an ATV that daddy took me out on. Maybe I can get a video of that up. Brody blew up lots of things with firecrackers... I don't like loud noises, so I think daddy shouldn't hang out with Brody so much.

Excite Trike!

Today Daddy took me around the block on my new Trike! Mommy refused to take me earlier because it was like 100 degrees and she gets hot easily cause she is from Snow Town or something.

Anyway, we went around the whole block! I got off to see the doggies and the kid talking to himself wearing a pirate hat, and the motor cycles without wheels. It was lots of fun. Soon I might be tall enough to actually pedal, but for now I'm going Flintstone style!

This past Mother's Day, I got to hang out with Grandma Atch! She took me to the zoo and let me pet a Pot Bellied Pig and Slobber Goats. The Kangaroos wouldn't let us pet them though. There was lots of Peacocks all over.

I have finally overcome my camera shyness! This morning I let daddy film me eating breakfast. These spoon things seem kind of slow though.

Later we went to the park near Columbine and the Skate Park. It had a really cool blue and white sign, it was lots of fun to look at and trace my fingers over. Daddy and Mommy wouldn't let me look at the sign the whole time though, they kept taking me back to the park. I still have not finished reading the sign, maybe I can read it next time I goto the park.

There was lots of silly girls. They didn't seem to understand anything I said, but I talked to them a lot anyway. And I saw a dog with a really fuzzy tail.

How to style your hair

Last night daddy helped me film this video. Not to ruin it, but I explain the best way to style your hair. It helps if you have a few minutes to spare so that you can cover your hands and face in spaghetti sauce first... but probably these tips will work without the preprep work.

For some reason even daddy wanted to give me a bath last night, usually he argues for waiting until Saturday night since I get one anyway for church. Guess he didn't want me to get too vain with my cool hair.

So Grace is making fun of how I am not updating my blog enough. I still think Shoveling is cool... so I blog it when I get around to it! Why don't I get to it when there is still snow? Well, I'm a busy kid! We have to goto the park, plant grass, spit milk all over the place, tangle yoyos, jump off of the couch, throw blocks down the stairs, ... the list is endless. I don't know how she can find so much time to update her blog. I guess she just doesn't have as much fun as me.

Speaking of fun. Did you know breakfast is really silly? Here is a video of me eating breakfast today. (Not a month ago when there was snow...) Daddy is really silly, but you can't see his faces in the video. If you could you would act just as silly as me.

For some reason, big tractors came and took all the snow from our street. It is pretty silly if you ask me, I mean it would have melted eventually, and then we would have had more snow to practice shoveling on! But now there are big dirty brown piles of snow at the park that mommy and daddy won't let me play in. What is the point of that?

So I was almost asleep a few nights ago, I was falling all over and would probably have gone to sleep early if Mommy had let me. But then I heard this crazy crunching noise. I sloth into the kitchen to see what all the fuss is, and Daddy is putting tart cherries and rasberries into the smoothie maker! After he was done, he let me have a few sips. Then a few more sips. Then Mommy had her smoothy (hers is better because it had yogurt) and she let me have some.

Let's Go Outside!!!

Daddy and Mommy never bring me outside. Today I only got to go outside like 3 times, and when daddy came home, I put on my coat all by myself (well, at least I got one arm in), but all Daddy would say is that it was dark outside and I had to wait until tomorrow.

So I tried giving Daddy his winter hat to wear. He put it on, and he looked really silly inside, so I brought him to the door and explained that if we went outside, he wouldn't look so silly. But that didn't work either.

So next I got Daddy to bring out the vacuum cleaner, and it made lots of noise. Then I showed Daddy that it was quieter outside. But he stayed inside and just turned off the vacuum.

One day I'll learn to open that door, then I can go outside whenever I want! Hopefully I can figure out my coat by then.

I got to celebrate my birthday early. I got some really cool presents from Grandma and Grandpa V and Uncle Rich and Aunt Jen. I also had some really yummy chocolate cake that mommy made - it had no eggs or milk in it, since I'm not supposed to eat those things yet. I thought the rest of my face would enjoy it as much as my mouth, but mommy didn't agree. She made me get a bath right away.

Brrrrrr! There is a big 'ol storm in Colorado. Fortunately Mommy listened to the weather report and brought me to New York with her. Poor Daddy is stuck in Colorado. Maybe it will stop snowing long enough for Daddy to catch an airplane.

Mommy didn't let me bring Marlo, she made me leave him behind. Hopefully Barb will feed him lots of carrots and sugar while I'm in New York!

Here is a video of me opening a big present from my Grandma and Grandpa! It was really fun opening it. The box is great. Today I sat on the box and played with Daddy's new juggling GBalls (he opens presents early too). I also played with the ribbon a whole lot.

Note: Vash is afraid of it. But earlier he was afraid of a magazine on the floor of the kitchen, so I'm not sure he is really very brave to begin with.

I can Juggle One Club!

Grandpa got Daddy 6 new PX3 clubs for Christmas! I think they are the greatest things ever! Here is a video of me playing with the cool clubs! I carried these all over the house today. Just a little bit taller and I'll be able to juggle these just like daddy!

Today Barb the neighbor lady came over to take some pictures, and Daddy and Mommy got her passing clubs with them. I guess she knows how to juggle balls and Boxes of Cigars and Rings. She gave me her old swimming pool, so she is a cool lady. Of course it is kind of cold to go swimming now, but maybe in the spring it will be warm enough to go swimming again.

Here is a video of me juggling! I also included a little video of mommy and daddy trying to poison me with multi grain elbows, whatever those are. Daddy is way at the end. He looks silly when he is learning new tricks. (He looks silly even when he knows them. He is a silly daddy.)

Today Mommy and Daddy Took me downtown on the Light Rail! It was lots of fun. Daddy was silly and brought the Graco Stroller, and it was almost too big to squeeze on the trolley and so he almost missed it.

Downtown was RoboMike, a weird robot with Orange Hair. (This is someone else's picture since Daddy didn't bring the camera.) I like the Orange Hair better.

At Barn's Noble we saw lots of great books! They had a mommy who kept telling her kid she was going to sell all his toys to a homeless kid. I tried asking her where the homeless kid would keep the toys since he didn't have a house... but she just started yelling at her kid for taking the train away from me. Poor kid. I love my mommy!

We also ate at Good Times, then bought a new travel stroller for travelling to New York next month.

Here is a movie of me running all over the place tonight. First I spilled Cheerios all over the place and had fun eating those. Then I followed daddy all over the place wearing my Bear Feet! They are really cool shoes, but they fall off because they keep shrinking.
Soon I'll be able to run and mommy and daddy won't be able to keep me from doing all the cool things like eating dog food and rolling down the stairs!

So Vash and I are now living by ourselves. Snoop Dog and Bowdie have both gone to live in Kansas. Vash is a good dog and he lets me pet him and he doesn't bite me even when I pull his ears, honk his nose, and poke him in the eye.

It is lonely living here with just Vash. Sure there are still the Mommy and Daddy people around sometimes, but they don't roll around or dance like a lemur like Snoop Dog and Bowdie. Hopefully they will come to visit again one day. Or maybe I can buy an Alpaca for Christmas!!

At the Pumpkin Festival Saturday, I got to pet an Alpaca! Check this dude out! He is way way cooler than the silly doggies I live with. He is even bigger than the llama I got to see at the stable last month! He is so soft and fuzzy. Maybe Mommy and Daddy will buy me an Alpaca for christmas!

I could keep him in the garage and feed him dog treats and mangos (Mommy tried to feed me mangos, they tasted pretty gross, but I bet Alpacas would eat them if I hid them in my pocket for them.)

This alpaca is grumpy. I think it is because he has to smell cow farts all day. Apparently they are very bad for the environment.

Today mommy and daddy brought me to the Pumpkin festival! There was lots of pumpkins. I wanted to bring them all home, but they made me pick out only one.

I got to see a bald eagle, and an alpaca! They let me pet the alpaca, but the eagle was too scary to pet.

I also got to see lots of tractors!

Today I learned you should not grab the big green thing on the top of a pumpkin. OUCH, they have little pokies all over them!

Daddy brought me to the farmer's market the other day, we saw a bunch of big doggies and ladies who said "How Cute!" Daddy almost dumped me onto the ground when he put too many melons, corn and apples into the back of the chariot and it almost tipped over. Fortunately I was strapped in. Shhhhh, don't tell mommy.

Daddy got a new game the other day. It is called Lego Starwars. It is a cool game about this big brown chewey and hairy guy who goes around ripping peoples arms off. Lots of fun to watch. My favorite part is when the Imperial Death March plays... that is my favorite song right now.

Daddy even gave me a T-Shirt with the chewey hairy guy on it! Check it out!

Anyway, as you can see, I'm pretty White & Nerdy.

Today I forced Daddy to sweep the kitchen. For some reason he didn't like me eating the old spinach, dog food, dirt clods, dog hair, dog biscuits, and other yummy things that were in the kitchen.

So this week I'm driving mommy crazy. I've been able to stand up in my crib for a while (this picture is kind of old, I have way more hair than this now)... but I learned that I can sit up and stand up right away and then if I keep crying mommy might come and tuck me in!

This seems most effective when I'm bored at about 2am. I've noticed Daddy never comes. Maybe if I scream loud enough he will come too?

Hopefully my teeth come in soon so I can sleep longer.

So I've started eating some of the same food that Daddy and Mommy eat! First, I had some cantelope (I think that is a deer from a can) that they got at the Farmer's Market. But this past Saturday they picked up a box of peaches heavier than I am! So they have let me eat slimy pieces of peach. They are very difficult to pick up, but they taste better than bananas.

My pal Vash and his little skinny friend Snoopy like to lick all the left over peach pieces off of me after Mommy puts me back on the floor.

Grandma Atch came to visit last weekend. She was lots of fun. They took me for a walk, shopping, and she played the Pop-Goes-The-Woozel game until she couldn't hold me any more!

She is doing Aztrek now, or soon will anyway, so she had to leave.

Aunt Jodi is coming tomorrow, so maybe she will bounce me around, or at least give me more chocolate pudding! Yum!

Mommy and Daddy decided that all of my backup food supply is getting old and funky. So mommy cleaned up the freezer. I had lots of fun playing with the milk, but I could not figure out how to actually eat it. It seemed a lot more clumpy and cold than I remember.

Mommy brings me to see Joshua every week or so. Joshua is only half my age, but he is already as big as I am! He cries a lot more, maybe that is because he eats too much? He doesn't do much, he can't roll around and sit up, but boy can that kid eat! He eats as much at one sitting as I eat in a whole day.

Joshua has an older brother Cole, and he likes to play with me, but he plays kind of rough. One day I want to be big like Cole so I can play video games too!

Anyway, I have a cold right now, so I might not be able to post for a few days. Mommy keeps putting drops up my nose and then sucking them up with a big blue horrible thing. I wish she would just let me be health again so I can feel better.

Today I started eating oatmeal! Mommy ran out of that yummy rice cereal. At least it is yummy when she doesn't mix bananas with it. Bananas are kind of weird to eat, I much prefer sweet potatoes and peas.

Daddy gave me some granny smith apple, and I didn't like that very much. But I like the apple baby food mommy gives me.

Soon I'll have teeth and I'll be able to eat steak!

I've been really busy eating and smiling lately. I finally posted some pictures from my first trip to Vail. It was a really fun trip! I got to go through a tunnel, and stay in a condo, and roll around the lake, and as you can see, I got to go swimming!

I wasn't very splashy like the other kids, but it was fun meeting everyone and showing off my sun glasses! We met a family whose kids are starting school at the school by our house.

Well, I have to go smile at Vash now. Bye Bye!

My First Yummy Food Experience

So last night, mommy and daddy went to see Da Vinci's Cold with my grand parents... and left me with my nurse Aunt Jodi. We had lots of fun, but eventually I got hungry. First Jodi tried feeding my some of mommies milk from a bottle, but I didn't think it tasted quite right, and I told Jodi this quite loudly.

Next Jodi tried the Similac that mommy mixed up, but I really don't care for the taste, and I told her that.

Next Jodi checked out the Soy Milk, but this had a really big warning saying it wasn't an Infant Formula... while she was reading this, I suggested that she try feeding my that Chocolate Pudding that I saw daddy eat once before at Cold Stone.

Anyway, as you can see form the picture above, there is nothing about not being an Infant Formula on the Zensoy... so Jodi let me eat my fill. I made quite a mess, let me tell you. Unfortunately I was too stickly to take any pictures.

Later daddy came home and offered me the rest of the pudding, but as you can see, I really prefer mommies milk... and I think I'll wait a few months to try other food again.

I'm afraid Vash would prefer to lick my face than be a steed, but he makes a good war horse since he can kill the enemy with his breath.
