After watching an episode of Lost, I was pretty tired. Vash kept sniffing me for some reason, maybe he is checking to see if I have some treats for him? I think that Phillip Glass is pretty fun... Daddy was showing us all Powaqqatsi, and Vash kept barking at all the people. Later when we watched a dog show, vash was trying to climb into the TV to sniff the Bulldog!!

Mommy Making Elevensies

 Here is a picture of mommy getting ready to make my 11:00 meal. I'm kind of lazy, so she has to do all of her extraction herself. Hopefully I will not be so lazy one day, but it is hard work crying and sleeping all day.

Today Daddy put me in our Baby Bjorn and played Mozart's Fantasy No. 2 in D Minor, and Beetoven's Sonata Quasi Una Fantasia in C# minor (Moonlight Sonata) to me. I find the 2nd movement to be rather dull, and Daddy does not play it quite as well as on Baby Beethoven... but the 3rd movement really is exciting and helps me sleep.

Today I have an icky eye. The doctor didn't call mommy back, so hopefully it is not too serious.

I decided to try breast feeding from mommy a little today. Probably I won't make a habbit of it, but it might help her to calm down a little bit. I am 2 weeks old today!

Dr. Edrich says Jonah is healthy and doing good! He doesn't see much in the way of frenum, so I guess it is up to tongue exercises and prayer to get Jonah breast feeding. Hopefully Dawn will stay willing to pump as long as it takes. If not, I guess there is always Formula!
Jonah is 21" tall now! He weighs 7lb 1oz.

Today Daddy and Mommy both stretched my tongue out again. Mommy saw my tongue as I was blowing bubbles watching Jake Plumber throw the ball to the Thiefs or Rogues or Stealers or something. None of the spectators seemed happy whenever he did this. Maybe they should make him shave off that scary beard or something next year? Anyway, Daddy forgot his camera at church, so hopefully someone finds it and gives it to Leslie, or I might not get to show you how cute I am at 5 mega pixels any more! As you can see his Sony Lego HandyCam takes darn good still shots. \(^_^)/

Mommy went to see a lactation specialist today. She said that Mommy and Daddy need to stretch tongue out because I am maybe tongue-tied. I think they think that because I don't talk very much. It is much faster to eat from a pinky, but Daddy insists on using his index finger now. Unfortunately, Mommy still tries to use her boobies instead of her fingers.

My Auntie Jodi came over today. I think that she likes to hold me. For some reason they insist on putting on this huge hat for me to wear, but I guess it keeps my eyebrows warm

I meet my Mommy!

Here is a video of me meeting my mommy Dawn. She is very pretty, although her hair is kind of scary the first time I meet her.

(Sorry if this video is a little funky on the aspect ratio, Windows Media Player seems to want to convert from 4:3 aspect to 16:9 aspect twice. It plays fine for Daddy in BS Player. I'll try to help him solve the problem for next time. Maybe he just needs to tell the encoder it is using square pixels.)
